Video Interview

AZLegislation.com recently went down to the capitol to experience the debate over Russell Pearce's bill SB1070 on illegal immigration.

What do you think, should SB1070 be passed? Will to cause law enforcement agencies to engage in racial profiling? Will it help to make our state safer?

How the “Illegal Immigration” issue affects our everyday lives!

I am a proud American Citizen, who has honorably and unselfishly served his country as a Marine for twenty years, like many before me.

Although I am a registered democrat, I have to admit that in the past sixteen months this President, his Administration and allies, with the help of the Main Stream Media, have been systematically eroding our Constitutional rights, which seems to be just fine with the President as evidenced by his numerous deplorable actions that will permanently divide our country to a point of no return.

I also believe that if they are allowed to continue without restraint their actions will more than likely cause civil unrest and/or an uprising, which may be his ultimate goal because it would allow him to declare “Marshal Law” as a means of completely doing away with our “Constitutional Rights” and ultimately take over as our country’s life-long dictator.

Note: These recent articles and/or blog posts support my statement above-You Decide:

From One Hispanic to Others — Arizona, You’re Being Had By the Media-Posted on BigJounralism.com-By Alicia Colon-On April 29, 2010:

I also believe that, as an American Citizen, who also happens to be Hispanic, I have a God given right and/or duty to stand up for and defend those rights given me under our Constitution and have chosen to do this under my “Freedom of Speech Rights” by laying out my numerous concerns as professionally as I can on my blog web site, which I will continue to share with you in the hopes of getting the word out on issues that I feel the Main Stream Media continues to deliberately and blatantly keep us in dark about.

I realize how extremely sensitive the “illegal immigration” issue is in our country simply because it deals with and affects human lives that I know for a fact have been forever oppressed by their country. And, although I know in my heart and soul that we must show some compassion for these individuals, which I do, as I do for many others around the world that live in oppressive regimes, I also find myself to be extremely concerned and disgusted about how our government leaders in Washington have unjustly and unfairly dealt with the issue of “illegal immigration” in our country. I also believe that not every “illegal immigrant,” regardless of what oppressed country they come from, has been treated equally, and, most importantly, their inaction to deal with this sensitive issue has not only hurt and/or destroyed human lives in the past and continues to this date, but has created what I consider to be a grave “security” issue for our country.

My main concern on this issue is one of “homeland and national security,” which has been exacerbated by our country’s 9/11 terrorist attack and truly believe that our government leaders have not done enough to secure our boarders, although our country’s tax payers continue to flip the bill for failed security measures, as evidenced by the recent failed Times Square terrorist plot and Christmas day attempted terrorist airplane attack in Detroit.

And with that being said, what follows is my recent blog post that reveals a letter that I forwarded to one of our City Councilors in 2006 regarding the issues that some of my co-workers and I experienced with un-documented workers (illegal immigrants), along with those employers that hired them, while employed with a State Government Agency and am taking the liberty of sharing it with you as a means of giving you an insight into some of the issues that most of our U.S. Citizens shy away from sharing with anyone, to include their employers, for fear of being labeled as a “racist,” which I find extremely disturbing because we should not have to live and/or work in this environment as American Citizens, who supposedly live in the “land of the free.”

What I find even more deplorable is that some of our City, State and National elected officials seem to deliberately ignore the illegal immigrant issue for fear of being labeled as “racists” and/or are more concerned about their political careers than taking care of their employees and/or constituents, with the exception of the Governor of Arizona that has recently signed the “Illegal Immigration Law” in her state and I truly admire her for listening to over 70% of her constituents and having the fortitude to deal with the issue, which is more than I can say for some of our elected officials in my state and in Washington-You Decide:

Disclaimer: I am not a politician and thus am not known for always being politically correct because I call it as I see it. I lost my father, a WWII Veteran, who survived the Battle of the Bulge, but lost the battle with his PTSD symptoms at the young age of fifty-nine and I also lost many a friend during the Viet Nam War that fought and died to uphold our “Constitutional Rights” and the freedom that too many “Americans in Name Only” take for granted. I have to admit that I tend to get extremely concerned when I see politicians, regardless of political affiliation, sex, race, color (In the Marine Corps we were all green), creed, ethnic origin or religion, doing things and/or taking actions that I see as a threat to the freedom and/or rights given us under our Constitution and/or the safety, security or welfare of our Veterans, active duty members or their dependents/survivors. I like to point out that Undocumentated immigrants in AZ can not receive Welfare and can not receive Medical attention. I know I worked at a Hospital in Tucson, AZ. Also those who do receive these benefits must be below a federal poverty guideline. What does that mean?? That the ones who are receiving that support are american citizens or legal immigrants who are poor and at disadvantaged. Think about this an undocument worker comes to work here in the US, they will work long hours and have zero to none legal rights(because of their status)will be taken advantaged of by unscrupulous employers and at a whims notice can be deported by neighbors or employers by calling ICE. Can not receive medical and federal assitance because of status and can not receive assitance when filling taxes(tax refunds and child tax credits)because of their status; but, contribute to the economy by performing work and purchasing goods . With this new law non-documented Immigrants have to worry that a police officer(who is here to protect and serve) can detain them without them committing any crime on the basis that they look hispanic and were looking for a better life and get deported leaving behind all that they have worked for. Im not even touching the other issues like leaving behind their children who might well be american citizens by now. And to those of you who cry about american citizens in Mexico , there are thousands of retirees in mexico living the good life(as dollars strech better to make ends meet) there are entire communities in mexico where english is the only language spoken. Here are some examples

http://www.mexicoretirementguide.com/american_retirement_community_in_me...

I like to point out that this law does nothig to provide training or funds to train police officers on how to humanely treat people(as it is they some times lack ethical training).Without this law if a police officer arrests an undocumented worker for committing a crime when they are processed immigration can come and pick them up after they serve their time ;on the other hand, this law gives police officers the ability to detain someone only by mere suspicion of being undocumentated(how is that for unconstitutional rights). You dont want to give police officers a bigger stick. Someone had a remark that this reminded them of the Gestapo. If you really want to solve the problem secure the borders. Fine the living daylights out of companies that hire undocumented workers and use the funds to build a bigger and longer wall.

How this new law SB1070 help or stop the situatiion in the border?
Where in the 17 pages of this law explain or determinate action plan to stop problems in the border and drugs carter?
How a citizen born in any american land or jurisdicion can proff the status? what document are you going to present to the police in AZ?

Before any support to this law answer those questions and addition what about people from any other region or country that is hispanic and born in Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands etc,.

TO PEOPLE THAT DO NOT LIVE IN SOUTHERN ARIZONA..YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE WITH THE MEXICANS ,THEY BELIEVE THAT FIRST WE ARE THE INTRUDERS AND THEY TREAT US AS SUCH..I AM WHITE AND A CITIZEN ,MY FAMILY HAS BEEN HERE FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS[ALSO PART INDIAN].ALL,I REPEAT ALL ILLEGALS [NONO-CITIZENS SHOULD GET NO ,NO,NO, BENIFITS FROM THER U.S. GOVERNMENT OF ANY TYPE,SEND THEM HOME NOW NOW. AS FAR SOUTH AS YOU CAN TAKE THEM ..THIS TOWN I LIVE IN ,BOWIE ,AZ. IS RUN BY DRUG DEALER FAMILIES ,THE LAW DOES NO-THING TO STOP THEM ..THEY ARE AFRAID OF THEM..SAVE OUR COUNTRY SEND THEM HOME....

I and my collective AMERICAN family completely and passionately support SB1070. Immigrate LEGALLY and all is well and these folks will be welcomed to their NEW country of choice to become productive Americans.

My wife was born in Arizona of immigrant parents who escaped Nazi occupied Latvia during WWII. A family of 5 Lived in DP (Displaced Persons) camps while fleeing their homes during that time. While in Germany for 3 years following the war, two baby girls were born and one baby girl, who had been born in Riga, Latvia died of influenza. In 1951 they (6 of them) arrived aboard an immigrant ship in New Orleans after being sponsored by the Lutheran Church in Arizona.

They were accepted into their new home and naturalized through the LEGAL process to become Americans. They learned the lifestyles and language of their new home. The parents, fluent in the Latvian, Russian, and German languages encouraged their children to learn the language of their country of choice. In 1952 the youngest child, my wife, was proudly "Born in the USA!". To this day, she reminds her siblings of their accomplishments and their birth country and they remind her that they are also 'Proud Americans'.

When gathering as a family, they all speak in 'the old language' to help remember what they came from and how they worked so hard to become AMERICANS. A prayer always precedes a meal IN ENGLISH as that is the way 'Mom Taught Us...'. All of the immigrant children are now retired from US Government service including serving in the US armed forces. The youngest (American Born) continues her medical practice in the Yuma and Phoenix areas.
They are all PROUD Americans and live the AMERICAN way after LEGALLY Immigrating to their country!

At this writing they all unanimously agree that SB1070 should be put to a referendem to, once and for all, SEAL the reason for American freedom, a choice to do what is right and legal. They all are also firmly convinced the overwhelming majority of voters will support the need for American illegal alien reform and protection of our American borders from illegal invasions. There is no such thing as an 'Illegal Immigrant'... They are just plain ILLEGAL!!! Find them and deport them and then hold their country responsible through monetary sanctions... THEY PAY US, we don't pay them. Keep our borders safe and secure.

It is necessary NOW for our troops to guard our borders. We have an invasion occuring onto sovereign soil. It's time for our government to uphold the Constitution of the United States!!!

Solve the Illegal problem, give legal status to people who have been living here a certain amount of time, with no criminal records and productive and contributing lives. Then you wont have to be crying about illegals or people breaking the law. But when you deny the very thing that you have , the oportunity to fullfill your dreams and be part of a productive society you create a double standard.

Definition of Racist
racist - based on racial intolerance; "racist remarks"
racist - a person with a prejudiced belief that one race is superior to others
racist - discriminatory especially on the basis of race or religion

with that definition anyone that has intolerance to "illegal" immigrants is by definition racist. If your not willing to grant legal status to someone who is already here, then it is racist as well. Blame the goverment for not securing the borders. Blame the business for hiring cheap labor. The moment you start labeling mexicans as drugdealer, or black people as rapist, or irish people as alcoholics, or italian people to connections to the mob you start putting your race or ethnic above others and thats is a definition of racism.
Treat other like you would like to be treated, America is better than all the prejudice remarks i have seen here and if these remarks are the concesus then the decline of this country is not because of illegal aliens but because the people in their ignorance have lost their values. By the way all the Illegal aliens from central america and mexico are poor and destitute, looking for a better life , the ones that can "legally" come here are not interest in risking their life or suffering ostracism and reject. For those who "legally" immigrated you are priviledge as you had deep pockets to pay for you oportunities or were lucky to mary an american citizen to get your status.

With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

I guess that only applies to overseas immigrants. Again, Descrimination, thats the reason hispanics see this new law as a product of descrimination.

I think Jan Brewer did the right thing by signing the SB1070 and Law Enforcement should do their jobs and arrest any illlegals they stop.!

Americans cannot go to any other country and stay illegally.

It is time to stop illegals from entering and staying in our state.

Check out the video called The Tanton network on you tube. It might give you a different view of the goverment.

We have many "attractive nuisance options" that make it appealing for illigals to fight to come here. They get 1. Free medical care, 2. Free schooling, 3. Free meals, 4. Free food stamps, 5. Free citizenship if born here of anyone, including illigal aliens.

When I travel to a foreign country, I am required to show proof that I have a right to be there. This isn't discrimination or profiling, it's the law for everyone entering from a foreign country. I can be stopped anywhere while visiting and be required to show my identification.

Suggestion: Take away the attractive nuisance options, and the problem will probably go away.

Illegal immagration has to stop. Nobody invited an invasion of foriegners to the US. I am so sick of going shopping and hearing a bunch of foriegn speaking people. I didn't travel to Mexico, I did travel to Russia etc. If I want to go live in filth, I can but I shouldn't have to out run it in my our country. I don't care if every McDonald's adn Hotel in the country closes. All this bill is, is lip service. Homeland Security isn't going to come get them, they have already said so. It is sad that our goverment never stepped up to the plate and address the issue before Americans were sick to death of it. There are to many fast food restrauants & hotels anyway. Let them close for lack of labor. If you really want to boycott, if you want them to go home, quit shopping where they are. If you go to a hotel and it is run by someone other than an American, go to the next one, same with fast food, even Walmart, if the clerks can't speak English, leave the store. Even better if you have the balls to tell management why. California is a giant slum. They like to act all multi cultural but San fransisco isn't suitable for decent humans. They crap on the sidewalk, sleep in doorways. The sell drugs, rape and kill each other and even sell each outer. These are the people you want to protect? This is the America you want? Not me? I would be fine if I never heard another foriegn language in my country. I don't feel I owe them anything. Not welfare, schooling or even a job. They are like roaches, you see one, there are hundreds you don't see. The ones that come and work to become citizens, don't have any problem and I don't have any problem with them. Go to China town ( it's over 100 years old) they still don't speak English. Keep San Fransisco and their boycott, who needs them Vote them OUT along with Reid and Pelosi. They are history.

I think this will help us get back to basics and get some jobs back for our People that are American Citizens. This giveaway has got to stop! Everything has been effected Big time with all that the eligals have been getting. Send them back Now!

Well enough said..67% of AZ support THIS BILL AND 13 OTHER STATES ARE GETTING THE SAME BILL READY,Has any one wondered how many jobs would be available here and the change it would bring our economy?? Remember back in the 70s when i was going to school we all worked as cooks, bus boys, waiters and waitresses or in a fast food place..WELL now you go in to any fast food and they are all mexican nobody speaks english etc Think this may be why unemployment rate of young kids in high school and college here is so low..Think they need to go thru same citizen program as our grandfathers before us The only ones crying are the illegals and the ones who feed off our hospitals and welfare system if we goy all illegals off aid our schools would flourish with money...Now if we can just get rid of that pansy ass Phoenix Mayor we have it would be a great start Wake up Phoenix!! Did Phil Gordon pay for shakiras visit and since when does a celebrity have any clout here and Shakira isny even a voter here WAKE UP PHIL GORDON YOUR TIME IS COMING NEAR

I have absolutely NO issue with immigrants. My dad was one for pete's sake. But his parents did it the right way and worked hard to become Americans - including learning ENGLISH.

I understand the concern about profiling but if the problem is that nearly 1,000 people a day are crossing the Mexican border to come here - who do they think will be checked? Canadians?? (who by the way are happy to stay where they are!! LOL)

Furthermore - if I get pulled over, I'm expected to show proof of a license to drive. If I don't have one the I'd darn well better have something else to prove I'm here legally. Same with medical treatment - they won't treat me until I show a picture ID. Now tell me how the heck illegal aliens keep getting free medical care, free food, free housing, etc. etc. Just who's ID are they using????

I'm tired of the whining. Do it right or get the hell out.

Oh, and Los Angeles? If you are boycotting Arizona - can I assume then that you asking us to turn off the flow of electricity to your smoggy city??? Stop being hypocrites!!! How about you start enforcing the laws of your country!!!!!!!

I think You are Right On!

People are complaining that this is racial profiling because they just want things to stay the same as they have. My daughter got involved with a young man who I felt sorry for because his parents brought him here at the age of 8, he is now 22 years old speaks perfect english thanks to our schools, with 2 kids and worried about being deported all because his parents didn't care enough about their children to learn the english language and do whatever they had to to become legal US citizens. His mother still doesn't speak english and she's been here 14 years to me that shows the arrogance of some illegals because if you and I were in Mexico we would have to speak their language immediately to get by. My mother came here from Germany and did all she could to be legal and was very proud of herself for doing it, why should these lawbreaking people be treated any different they want all the US has to offer but they don't want to do what they have to to get it and then their kids suffer. Hispanic people always say how family oriented they are but how can that be if you don't even care enough for your kids to show them how to be obedient and respectful of the laws of another country.

Ya know, you should really get the facts before you start hurling accusations around.
http://www.hartford-hwp.com/archives/45/110.html
I don't think anyone disputes that US immigration policy needs to be reformed, but this shotgun approach is NOT the way to do it. This is a function for the federal government to deal with. Trying to handle a near total economic collapse, terrorist threats, healthcare reform and creating jobs doesn't leave a lot of time to focus solely on immigration. So ask yourself what is more important for you? Getting a job and saving your home or getting an undocumented worker deported (at your expense, of course)?
Arizona politicians and many residents need to understand what the "law of unintended consequences" is and stop the knee-jerk reactions for purely political gain.

Aspen7698,

Your link to 13 Myths About Immigration, is nothing more than another viewpoint, your link was provided by "Prepared by Rich Cowan, Michelle Persard, Jesse Hahnel of the Center for Campus Organizing, Democratic Socialists of America for assistance".

As far as I am concerned, you can take Socialist preaching elswhere. I am glad you posted it though, it shows how Socialists such as yourself are trying to subvert Arizona's laws. And the rest of your rhetoric "law of unintended consequences" is understandible coming from your socialist point of view.

If Arizona ever decides to give up and abandon its States Constitution and take up the reigns of Socialism, we will give you a call.

Hear hear!!

Illegal is illegal They don't spend their money in the US to help our economy. They send it home to Mexico or their country of origin. This is big business for Mexico. Show papers or go home.
Finally, Arizona has some legal relief from those commiting crimes, if they can find them. Glad this bill passed.......support our border patrol. Build the fence!

Some one above stated that they thought it was not right that illegals had to show "papers" to show there status. Well , we as americans, have to show a license when stopped, plus car registration and insurance papers. So, it is not unfair to have some one show their papers when stopped. And a lot of the times we are told we need to carry our social security card with us. That is a form of paperwork stating that we are an american citizen. I agree that if the illegals want to stay and work for some of the americans that cant get off their lazy butt, then they should be allowed, but with a temporary or work visa. What is the problem with that?
Another comment is that this land , according to the song, is the "land of the free and the home of the brave". Look at those words, they are true. It is the land of the free. Illiegals and lazy butts come here and get medical and welfare for free, wow, what a place to live! And who pays the price , the people represented in the latter part of that sentence "home of the brave" - our american soldiers. These americans are fighting for freedoms for others as well as us here.

The Federal Government's of the United States and Mexico are much to blame on the current state of chaos and dangerous criminal element crossing our southern border. The US could be stepping up the war on drugs by stemming the demand for illegal drugs by turning up the pressure on the dealers & users on this side of the border, and making the consequences of being caught selling and/or using illegal drugs much more than a slap on the wrist... let's see some serious jail time for a few high profile users, instead of letting them skirt the law, and go to rehab instead of prision.

Mexico could be doing more to create a better economic picture for it's citizens, rather than always reacting to the problem by making speeches, instead of taking premeditated steps to insure that it's citizens would not have to leave the country in order to earn an acceptable wage... or have to resort to distributing illegal drugs to feed the cravings/demand for such illegal contraband that the United States cannot curb for the same reasons as stated above... Please legalize and tax the heck out of the product, and see how much the demand drops off... and the Country's can get back on their financial feet.

I believe in temporary work visas for those Mexicans that wish to do the work that a United States Citizen deems is below their social status, or are too lazy to get off of Government assistance long enough to remember what it's like to work at a job, instead of playing the wellfare system game, and not needing a job.

Rick

I agree about the temporary work visas. I have absolutely no problem hiring someone who is here to work legally as long as they follow the rules and pay taxes. Heck, two of my employees now are immigrants - one from Kenya and one from Ethiopia - but they are both here legally, are working hard, are going to school and working on improving their English, and both are going to make something of themselves. They don't expect free everything just because they happen to be in the US.

I work hard - have since I was 16. I'm tired of working my behind off to support those who won't get up off theirs!!!!

If certain people are so worried about "racial profiling," then when ANYONE is legally stopped by a law officer, He or she should askEVERYONE for their legal status. That should get rid of all the hysteria and it wouldn't bother me in the least to be asked the question because I haven't anything to hide. There can't be racial profiling if everyone is asked the same question! I think the people that complain the most are those that have something to hide.

Governor Brewer just signed in changes to SB1070 to address several of the issues opponents had with the bill. Looks like they vague language associated with any contact with law enforcement is now limited to actual stops.

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/01/us/01brewer.html

What do you think? Does this change go far enough?

The truth behind Illegal Immigration is finally revealed!

http://bit.ly/8MgXBC

Protesters are flooding Governor Jan Brewers phones and now holding protests outside her Glendale home asking her to veto SB1070.

Some provisions of Senate Bill 1070 include:

• Requires law enforcement to make a reasonable attempt "when practicable" to determine the immigration status of a person if reasonable suspicion exists that the person is in the U.S. illegally.

• Makes it a crime to conceal, harbor or shield an illegal immigrant if the person knows or recklessly disregards the immigrant's legal status. Allows legal defense for someone providing emergency, public-safety or public-health services to illegal immigrants.

• Makes it a state crime to be an illegal immigrant, by creating a state charge of "willful failure to complete or carry an alien registration document."

• Make it a crime for illegal immigrants to work or solicit work in Arizona.

trouble is that these things were illegal before the bill went into law. The only thing the bill allows is for the police to actually enforce the EXISTING FEDERAL law! I think it is about time!!!

I don't even understand how this bill is legal? Isn't this racial profiling?

How can it be racial profiling? It is for ANYONE who is here ILLEGALLY. Go to another country and see what is expected of you. This law is for Asians, Chechs, Dominican, Egypytians, Greeks, Italians, Germans, Irish, ETC.......................

It's going to be a legal nightmare from both sides. Radicals on both sides with file lawsuits, one for not enforcing this hate law and the other for it being racial profiling. The moderates in the middle will have to pick up the bill for the suits, while the police are sidetracked from any real community based and effective police work.

That is really all this bill is going to accomplish - making lawyers PILES of money suing and countersuing, defending lawsuits, defending politicians....

It is not a new subject or an issue for The United States those issues regarding immigration—they are around for years. To date nobody has come up with a satisfactory solution on just what ought to and should not be allowed when it comes to immigration. One of the most recent matter is the Arizona immigration problem. There is an option for an Immigration Reform Bill to be passed that would allow law enforcement agents to check the immigration status of individuals involved in crimes, and would require immigrants to carry papers showing they're in The United States legally. All right how much is too much? I understand checking criminal suspects' status, I mean come on, if a white American were a suspect in a crime they run their criminal background check, so I wouldn't call that racism as long as it was checked consistently and not only towards a certain race. But having legal immigrants carry papers, that’s senile. Humans are humans regardless and branding them with papers might be going just a bit too far. I don't have a solution to the immigration situation, but papers aren't it.

Sorry but it has the feel of 1938 Germany, with the 'it's all for your safety' propoganda. Next comes the report your neighbor for the good of the country, everyone is Guilty Until Proven Innocent. I'm ashamed of our state right now. We need leaders representing us, not party line followers.

Excuse me but, do I understand you correctly that you do not already carry papers making you legal. As I see it, if you don't carry a drivers license issued by a state agency, you can't drive a car. Now, before you go off the handle, that drivers license required you to PROVE citizenship. Does that mean that our motor vehicle departments having been performing tasks of the NAZIS for all these years! WOW!!!!

A driver's license in NOT proof of citizenship. You are required to carry a birth certificate or US passport to prove you are here legally.
You ok with that? About the time the first "good ole boy" gets pulled over and asked for his "papers" is when this whole thing is going to blow up in the AZ legislatures face.

You are a sick puppy when you compare Nazi Germany with the state of Arizona and Illegal immigrants. How do you compare the millions of people killed to people invading our country illegally?

Read the comment, it says it feels like Germany, it is a valid concern that you perhaps do not share, but, the sentiment is there. Proof of that is the 38 people who agree with you. The majority of people in germany thought they were doing the right thing when adolf hitler promised them to clean their country and "bring back the old glory" it was political movement that started . Take the same bill and throw it in the 1800 in nyc and see if it is the same when boatloads of european people were coming in to the United States, as soon as you were off the boat you got rgistered and given "papers". Yes times change but one think does not "treat others the same way you would like to be treated". I dare anyone to look at the ancestry and see where they came from, I think you will notice only native americans are not foreigners it this country.

San Francisco Boycotts Arizona due to SB1070...

San Fransisco has the right to boycott, as we have the right to boycott San Fransisco:

Orpheum Theatre, Temple Emanu-El Fine Museum, Underwater Planet, San Francisco International Airport Museum Galleries, Cornerstone Festival of Gardens, Dolores Park, Stephen Wirtz Gallery, Randall Museum, Intersection for the Arts Gallery, Rainbow Flag, Cruisin' The Castro Tour, San Francisco Railway Museum, San Francisco City Guides, CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, San Francisco's Gay Village from Top to Bottom, Shelton Theater, HP Pavilion at San Jose, Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, The Taste of San Francisco Tour, Wine Country Tour - Napa and Sonoma, Taste of San Francisco Culinary Tour, Chalk Hill Estate Vineyards and Winery, Cantor Arts Center, Johnny Foley's Irish House, Seghesio Family Vineyards, Seghesio Family Vineyards, Martin Luther King Jr. Pool, Group Fun Run to Huddart Park, San Francisco Architecture Walking Tour, Galleria Park Hotel, Fisherman's Wharf Community Benefit District, Chinatown, Downtown San Francisco, Yerba Buena Ice Skating and Bowling, Lake Merced, Bay City Bike, Mountain Lake Park, Santana Row Farmers' Market, Mammoth Mountain, Howarth Park, Yoshi's San Francisco, Teatro ZinZanni, The Embarcadero, California Academy of Sciences, 1300 on Fillmore, Robert Mondavi Winery, Ferry Building Marketplace, Club Fugazi, Castagnola's, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Merryvale Vineyards, Top of the Mark, etc. The list goes on and on.

Looks like the Governor is going to sign this in to law today 4/23. Not really a surprise with Brewer in the position is it?

You know Americans whine and complain when no one does anything about illegal immigration, then AZ does something and people still complain. Americans have become apathetic and lazy. This bill matches federal law and people are all worked up over it. Get a grip. Entering this country illegally is a crime period. If you harbor an illegal you are committing a crime. Send troops to the border already. Of course people will whine and complain about that as well. The Feds aren't helping so it is time for AZ to care of AZ. Millions of immigrants take the class and go through the immigration process every year, and you spit in their eye by not doing anything about illegals.

THANK YOU!!!!!! AMEN!!!!

I am glad this Bill passed, and we need to do more to support our Border Patrol agents..........
